Ray is an attorney in the firm’s St. Louis, Missouri, Office, where he now has the privilege of representing victims who have been tragically affected by mesothelioma. Prior to joining MRHFM, Ray represented the City of St. Louis - in civil litigation and then served as a legal advisor to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department - for over twenty years. Prior to City Service, he represented corporations and other business organizations (LLCs, Partnerships, retail stores, restaurants, etc.), insurance companies, insureds, individuals, doctors, hospitals, other health care providers and professionals in civil lawsuits. Additionally, Ray taught law-related business, government, and ethics courses at local colleges; and he also worked part-time in the regional warehouse for United Parcel Service as a Member of the Local Teamsters Union.
Ray received his law degree from St. Louis University School of Law and bachelor’s degree from Truman State University (then Northeast Missouri State University) in Kirksville, Missouri.
Outside of the office, Ray enjoys traveling throughout the U.S.A. as well as Abroad with Family and Friends, urban hikes, serving on neighborhood volunteer boards, watching sports live - or watching sports and news on TV with his canine buddy Oscar Meyer.
Ray is licensed in Missouri and Illinois. He has been a member of several national, state, local, and specialty bar (legal) associations over the years including the Missouri Asian American Bar Association on the Board of Directors; and Maritime Law Association.
